The new Flexvolt 54V DCS579 circular saw has a high power density brushless motor and upgraded electronic module/components. Based on previous model DCS576, DCS579 has 47% more power and efficiency.
The DCS579 has a direct airlock dust port which means a quick, secure connection and cleaner safer jobsite. The quick tool free depth adjustment and quick change blade will save time and increase your productivity.
Other safety and productivity feature is E-Brake which stops blade quickly after the trigger is released. Integrated LED for increased visibility and rafter hook for quick and easy storage. This model is rail compatible.
